There was a guy picking up all the leaves from the grounds' grass everyday. There is a near private pool for nearly every room. The Mansion was very different to other 5* I've stayed in so don't expect the same generic style and layout of other hotels. This place has a lot of character and it made a nice change to the large chain hotels.
The staff were very friendly, the hotel was really quiet - as there are 5 pools - there always seemed to be somewhere you could relax without too many others around.
They also have a lovely spa, which again isn't your usual 5* standard but the treatments we got were great.

The resort was in a great location, only a few minutes from the downtown restaurants. The grounds were well maintained and both pools were very beautiful and inviting to swim in. For breakfast they offered a good variety of both western dishes and the more local Balinese rice and noodle dishes.

Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud.
Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool.
Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service.
The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.
