about the room supplied was efficiently & satisfactorily rectified.

This hotel was well located by car, but a good 45 minute walk into the
centre of Ubud. While they do offer a complimentary shuttle car, I would

We loved everything. The service was amazing and you never wanted for anything. You couldn't put your finger on what exactly was the magic at this hotel, but that's the exact point. You didnt' want for anything, nor did you have to ask for anything. True Bliss.

If you are thinking about booking this hotel in this price range, do it now. It was so great. A lot better kept and cleaner than expected. There was a guy picking up all the leaves from the grounds' grass everyday. There is a near private pool for nearly every room. We had a balcony overlooking the valley jungle with an infinity pool doing the same 10m away. The Mansion was very different to other 5* I've stayed in so don't expect the same generic style and layout of other hotels. This place has a lot of character and it made a nice change to the large chain hotels.
The staff were very friendly, the hotel was really quiet - as there are 5 pools - there always seemed to be somewhere you could relax without too many others around.
They also have a lovely spa, which again isn't your usual 5* standard but the treatments we got were great.

The resort was in a great location, only a few minutes from the downtown restaurants. The grounds were well maintained and both pools were very beautiful and inviting to swim in. For breakfast they offered a good variety of both western dishes and the more local Balinese rice and noodle dishes.

Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud.
Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool.
Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service.
The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.
