  We stayed here and had a brilliant time, Anung was very helpful and kind. This place is perfect for a family, even though there is no swimming pool you can use the one in the hotel across the road. The room had hot and cold water from a water dispenser, a very spacious balcony and the room was huge.   I stayed in this homestay in Feb 2013. The owner tells me it is two months old. The owner speaks excellent English and is very friendly and down-to-earth. He taught me how to tie the sarong the Balinese way (with a spiral tail falling in front). The location is excellent; about two minutes walk to the Ubud Palace (where you can watch Balinese danc... wat mensen zeggen » es at night), Tourist Information Centre and Ubud Market (Pasar Ubud). This is a good starting location to soak in the culture and beauty of Ubud. The - It is a really nice place and I highly recommend it to people who look for a simple and cheap but at the same time nice and clean place. Unique Homestay is very new and clean especially if I compare it to a place for the same price I stayed before in Ubud. The rooms are decorated in a pretty way and there is hot water. Breakfast is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The owner provided us (always when we needed) with a car for a honest price and friendly English-speaking driver.

It's my first time & the first hotel i visit in Bali, i am so worried that the rest of my journey would be a misery coz I know it would be so hard to ... wat mensen zeggen » find a warm, sweet place with all the sincere, simple and pure staff: Afan (fans of the Big Bang Theory will find him looks so familiar, just like the - The Djoyo had the most friendly, generous staff of any place we've stayed. It seems like the owner is not trying to make a profit but genuinely just wants everyone to have a nice time and loves engaging with people. They give you things for free like rides to the city, guided walks in the ricefields, and snacks, tea, and coffee that other places might charge for.
