  Isabelle, the owner, made us feel very welcome on our arrival. The hotel is very homely and a relaxing place to be. Close to many Chateau and other towns in the area.   Erg leuk en heel mooi romantisch chambres d'Hotes. Vriendelijke gastheer die heel trots op zijn mooie hotel is. Kamers zijn groot en mooi ingericht. Badkamers idem. Lekker verwarmd zwembad voor de kids, schitterend park om hotel heen. Ontbijt was heerlijk met O.A.zelfgemaakte jam van de gastvrouw. Helaas diner gemist, daar gaan we zeker voor terug... wat mensen zeggen » . - Deze accommodatie is werkelijk een juweeltje! Fantastische gastvrouw en gastheer, prachtige omgeving en een verrassende beleving. 10 minuten van de autobaan en je waant je werkelijk in een klein paradijs.

  Very charming chateau outside of Onzain. The chateau keepers could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Our French was not strong at all, and they very kindly helped translate a menu for us at a very nice restaurant they recommended in the neighboring town to celebrate our anniversary. They also called the restaurant to make the reservation... wat mensen zeggen » for us. They spoke fluent English which was incredibly helpful. The view from our 2nd floor room was truly spectacular! And the breakfast they offere - I loved the Hotel. Very nice staff and very relaxing place conveniently located next to the most famous Loire Castles. I will go back. A great find! The Loire castles are beautiful and visiting them is a pleasure. I stayed 3 days but I could have stayed a week. So much to see. Do not forget to visit the caves and do some wine tasting.

  Amazing place to stay. Located on the river bank. Greeted on arrival by the owner which the chateau has been in his family for a very long time if not original owners. Our room was very comfortable just beautiful. The garden surrounding the chateau are very picturesque. The staff are very lovely and - The location is ideal for visiting the Chateau at Chambord. This is a really unique experience and an opportunity to stay in a Chateau. The rooms are of an older period but quite charming. The hosts Patrick and his wife Ileana were both friendly and helpful with local information. The breakfast in a period dining room with painted panels was special.

  I was staying there with my sister to visit some of the Loire castles, the location is absolutely perfect for that! We also very much enjoyed the quietness of the place a bit remote from the road, that was extremely nice. The bedroom was large and clean, and the small terrass by the pool was great. The staff was very nice and friendly. We had hesi... wat mensen zeggen » tated to stay in this hotel because of some poor reviews, but apparently the owner changed this spring (2013) and they are improving a lot of things. - The staff made us feel welcome and were very accomodating! It was a quiet, beautiful retreat from the business of traveling. We would love to go back and stay longer!

  The owner is really nice and welcomes you to the Château. He also has brochures and info of all the châteaux you can visit in the area. The room was very big and had a dressing room as well. We enjoyed dinner at the château prepared by the owner. It was very classy and delicious. The service was excellent, very warm people.
