Isabelle, the owner, made us feel very welcome on our arrival. The hotel is very homely and a relaxing place to be. Close to many Chateau and other towns in the area. Has a very friendly cat that made us feel at home. -

A the end of a long journey being met by Christophe and ushered to the lovely swimming pool to cool off was wonderful. The chateau was beautiful in large gardens which were child friendly and boisterous boys were not curtailed in noisy and extensive games of hide and seek. We were only booked in overnight on our way to Calais from Carcassonne. We arrived after a 7 hour drive so a dip in the outdoor heated pool was a welcome and rejuvenating experience. The house is very romantic and charming and set in its own grounds so it is perfectly child friendly. Our hosts were extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. Very charming chateau outside of Onzain. The chateau keepers could not
have been kinder or more accommodating. Our French was not strong at
all, and they very kindly helped translate a menu for us at a very nice
restaurant they recommended in the neighboring town to celebrate our
anniversary. They also called the restaurant to make the reservation

The Loire castles are beautiful and visiting them is a pleasure.
I stayed 3 days but I could have stayed a week. So much to see.
Do not forget to visit the caves and do some wine tasting.

Dinner was really good - food, service and wine.
It's dog friendly (at €15 ea!) and if you have animals with you the best bet is to book the rooms by the pool, with access directly into the grounds. -

Amazing place to stay. Located on the river bank. Greeted on arrival by the owner which the chateau has been in his family for a very long time if not original owners. The location is ideal for visiting the Chateau at Chambord. This is a really unique experience and an opportunity to stay in a Chateau. The rooms are of an older period but quite charming. The hosts Patrick and his wife Ileana were both friendly and helpful with local information. The breakfast in a period dining room with painted panels was special.

I was staying there with my sister to visit some of the Loire castles, the location is absolutely perfect for that! The staff made us feel welcome and were very accomodating! It was a quiet, beautiful retreat from the business of traveling.
We would love to go back and stay longer!

The property is very interesting. Traditional, very well maintained and decorated with great taste. Our superior room was very spacious, overlooking the garden, and the bathroom was modern. Breakfast is very complete. We really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, excellent for spending the afternoon. Overall a great base for visiting the Loire Valley.

The owner is really nice and welcomes you to the Château. He also has brochures and info of all the châteaux you can visit in the area. The room was very big and had a dressing room as well. I loved the aesthetic of the castle, the ambience and the service was excellent. The location is perfect. It has a beautiful garden, lots of outdoor sitting areas and a lovely pool.

The hotel is very conveniently located for visiting the Loire Chateaux. We stayed 4 nights and went sigtseeing to 8 chateaux and Tour, and Blois.The restaurant serves excellent gourmet dinners and buffet breakfast, and they also recommended very good restaurants in nearby villages.Beautifully decorated rooms, each one with different theme! -

Great location, a little different, the free wine tasting was excellent and the roof top dining and sitting out area a winner! The local chateau has a great Tintin exhibition which was great for convincing the kids to visit the chateau. -

Pleasant village location not far off the motorway making an ideal stop over. Off road private secure parking. Good food and good service. -
