Well maintained hotel. Extremely friendly staff - allowed me to check in early. Beautiful setting on the river, convenient to Rocky Mtn National Park. Nice, large room with couch in sitting area. Small balcony off the back of the room - made for a nice cross breeze. Fridge in room was nice for keeping snacks and drinks. Nice selection of complimentary snacks and homemade cake in lobby. hope to return again soon.

We were there for an 18-person family reunion. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs with regard to meals, rooms, and the like. letsbookhotel.com did not the the rooms correct. We were looking to stay in a
suite and the lodge does not have a suite. All the rooms have a
different floor plan as well but, the caretaker was more than happy to
take care of us and even lowered our rate!

The front desk staff and manager were great! As for the room itself it was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the quiet of the area. It was the bomb when the Elk were right by our room and we got to go out and take pictures and see them close up. LOVED IT!! -

Twin Owls faces a rock formation that looks like two owls and that's all that matters. it's sitting at a gorgeous spot just outside the bustling heart of the town of Estes. It's a bit of a dive, but totally like something out of Northern Exposure. If you're super picky and high end, you may be disappointed, if you are easy going, this is the place without a doubt. Great views, super sweet staff.

It was an excellent place especially for the price. We were only there for one night so it didn't need to be spacious. We were in town for a wedding and when we traveled to the wedding sight we saw plenty of Elk! We even bought the painting that was on the wall we liked it so much! We live in Virginia but I spent the first 25 years of my life as a Coloradoan and we were very excited to buy a painting with Aspens to add to our Virginia home.

Great room, great bathroom. The hotel is located just behind a golf course, were several elks live! Every morning (before sunset) they can be found just a few steps from your bedroom door. Everything was wonderful. the staff was so nice and the facilities were VERY clean. Our room was a little dated (almond colored bathtub) but everything still looked brand new so that didn't bother me a bit. I've stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as clean as this place.
