Very friendly owners, they were more than willing to help and were lovely to chat to giving it a lovely personal feel to our stay.
The room was very luxurious, the bed especially was amazingly comfy!
There were walking route plans provided to help walkers and to give ideas to visitors as to which areas to visit.

Everything about the stay was delightful. From arriving with a warm welcome to recommendations for food that evening, Alex and Jeff were very helpful and polite in everything they did. One particular aspect that stands out in the breakfast, a stunning selection of everything you could ever wish for! Home made bread and scones with homemade jam, lovely! The room that me and my girlfriend stayed in was expected of somewhere of this calibre, very clean, very comfortable and a nice place to be. Ale

Fantastic location with owners and staff alike all gave us a 101 per cent of their time felt like family.Exceptional service given to all who stay there.Would highly recommend to any , as the peace, beauty and tranquillity took you over.
We went for our 40th Ruby Wedding Anniversary and they made it really special when they found out.

We loved this b & B. This was the one of the best beds we slept in
while on our trip around England. Vince is a great host with good
recommendations on what to do and how to get there. Shirley is an
awesome cook and these were the best breakfasts we had in England. The
location is very good - a 15 minute walk from the town so that we could
enjoy wine with dinner and not worry about driving and there are lots of
good restaurants in Bowness-on-Windemere - just ask Vince!

Very Dog friendly, very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Tea and cake in the afternoon of our arrival was a nice touch. Central location made it handy for shops, high level of cleanliness and top spec furniture and fittings. Good beer!
