Wonderful welcome and hospitality despite my very late unscheduled arrival. Beautifully clean and maintained rooms in a lovely location. We loved this b & B. This was the one of the best beds we slept in
while on our trip around England. Vince is a great host with good
recommendations on what to do and how to get there. Shirley is an
awesome cook and these were the best breakfasts we had in England. The
location is very good - a 15 minute walk from the town so that we could
enjoy wine with dinner and not worry about driving and there are lots of
good restaurants in Bowness-on-Windemere - just ask Vince!

Very Dog friendly, very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Tea and cake in the afternoon of our arrival was a nice touch. Central location made it handy for shops, high level of cleanliness and top spec furniture and fittings. Good beer!
