It's very quiet and safe. Also there's no mosquitoes near the hotel. Everything is clean. If anything is broken, as long as you let the owner/keeper know the problems will be solved very quickly. Walking around in the hill, you could see the olive trees up close together with some other plants.

A really charming "taberna" closeby serves really tasty food. The waitress/cook was a charming elderly woman (who doesn't speak english, but that was all the more fun). The view from the place is great.... cosa dice la gente » There is a small shop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

The stand out was the friendliness of the staff - they were extremely helpful, from telling us the best places to eat and drink in town and making reservations for us, to organising a packed breakfast for us when we had to leave very early on our last day.
