Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! I like that we were in a real part of tiwn, and not just in the postalcard old Nafplio. - The appartment was extremely well furnished with everything we could possibly need on holidays including many appliances in the kitchen, sugar coffee, salt, paper towels, you name it.The view was outstanding and really a nice walk down into the town. Owners were amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

  Very nice small hotel at down town, main square of historical center of the city. Very friendly personnel, nice breakfast (possible late breakfast). Nice room and furniture. Manager (owner) of hotel personally interested many time about our staying here. Two minutes walk to sea, 15 minutes walk to the beach. Location is amazing, it is in the heart of syntagma square, but at night we could sleep without any problem. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to napflio.
