We stayed in the chateau for three nights. It was simply wonderful! The country setting made it so peaceful and quiet. Sylvie and Alain are wonderful hosts. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a very professional attention to the comfort and well being of guests. We enjoyed two delicious evening meals and the breakfast was generous and offered wide choice. The rooms were comfortable and charming. We will certainly visit again! -

The chamber d'hote was in the lovely rural setting of an old mill
and run by a charming and very friendly couple. It was very clean and
comfortable and oldie world dating back to 14 something. We also enjoyed
table d'hote on one evening along with a French couple and our hosts
and I need say no more than Jerome had previously been a restaurateur.

Very rustic, converted moulin. Setting is beautiful: sheep, ducks, a lovely flowing river. Hosts were busy with caring for their property but available for questions, served a good French country breakfast and kindly offered to drive us if we needed a lift. We are walkers and enjoyed the 2kilometer walk to the sea and several restaurants.

The view of the Seine is amazing (look out for the ocean going container ships which dwarf everything around them but pass by very quietly!), the thatched cottages are romantic, delightful and beautifully set out. Our apartment had a small fully equipped kitchen (which we didn't expect) with dishwasher, oven, fridge and microwave. I wouldn't know where to start with showing our gratitude. We
absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem and cannot thank our hosts
enough for their warmth and hospitality. Location wise it is a bit out
of the city, but that was fine for us to be away for the noise- it is
still walking distance to the centre though (about 20mins) and just
opposite the tram so really no issues. The house itself is a calm,
serene oasis- beautifully decorated, wonderfully clean and very comfy

The hosts were very warm and welcoming, and helpful, providing local information, laying out breakfast in our room for an early morning ferry. Private home turned b and b, so the rooms were beautiful: spotlessly clean, decorated and furnished to the hosts' taste, and very comfortable. Balcony with room. Only four bedrooms, so extremely quiet, and away from the noise of the town centre. Within 20 - 30 minutes walking distance of town centre. Price matched quality of rooms and quiet location

Absolutely beautiful castle. The castle is part owner's home, part rented rooms and part museum. Wonderfully decorated and beautiful inside and out. Great fun touring the area and the outstanding antique doll collection and furnishings. Our room would suit a Queen. Breakfast hostess was very nice too. -

The whole ambience of this small family run business is unusually relaxed. It's the first hotel I have stayed in where the guests tidied up their own breakfast dishes. It is very much based on trust which I hope is always rewarded. First class peace and quite!
