We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at Au Nid des Thes. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street in the small town and has easy access to shops and restaurants. The location in the centre of Brantome meant easy access to the wonderful canals, abbeye, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a simple but very well done Continental with homemade preserves. Sandrine was very helpful and the room was large, well equipped and very clean. Excellent all round and we would stay there again.

Let's face it, Bordeaux and Saint Emilion accommodation is very expensive and as we had a car, we did not want to pay to park. Location of this B&B Chateau is perfect ONLY if you have a car as it's right in the countryside with surrounding vineyards and cute little french towns. Very scenic drives to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion.

Alain is a wonderful host, and provided us with a very comfy room, real
French breakfast, and totally helpful to any of our requests. The place
is so quiet, with views over the vineyards from the bedroom. A very
authentic French stone house with exquisite pieces of furniture. Alain
gave us tips and hints about the area, and provided us with a nice tea
on the sunny terrace when we arrived.
A must stay in if you are in the area !

Emmanuelle is a wonderful, charming and friendly host. The facilities have a beautiful ambiance and she has thought carefully about the taasteful decoration and every detail. We needed a hotel within 30 mins of Bordeaux airport on Sat morning and the chateau was perfect. We had a guided tour of the chapel and vineyard by Liz, who was charming and knowledgeable, as was her mother who looks after the B&B side of the business. Lovely breakfast.

We must say it is a very nice hotel running by very very nice people. We stayed three nights. On the second day, my wife got allergy and couldn't go out. The host lady, Veronique, was very nice to let us eat in our room and prepared food with care. We would thank them again.

We arrive as 2 couples and were made very welcomed. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the owners extremely friendly. We had the reataurant evening meal which was succulent and sooo copious. Typical Dordogne meal of excellent quality. Breakfast was varied on a beautiful terrace. The situation of the hotel is stunning, at the top of a hill in a typical village.

Pierre warmly welcomed us offering to carry our bags, he helped us with our car taking us to his local mechanic to do an exhaust repair. Sonia did excellent breakfast and both spoke excellent English and were helpful and informative. Location was superb, bang in the middle of two ports with beaches, we had a fabulous terrace with an elevated view of the sea. Loved staying there and would definitely return when we can. Highly recommended.

Our hostess was very welcoming. We were offered a choice of rooms and we found our room to be suitable and large. We were in France in July and it was hot so there was no getting around the heat, but the experience outweighed the lack of air con. We were shown around their winery and sampled some of their wines. Very nice and we bought some to bring back to Canada. A lovely restaurant in Cadillac was recommended and we had an amazing meal. Overall, a good experience.

is perfectly situated in Saint Emilion, so that you can explore the

Incredibly beautiful castle set in gorgeous grounds. Huge spacious rooms that have retained the original beauty from many years ago, with multiple unique features. It's like staying in a National Trust house, except you can touch and use everything!
