We loved everything about the room. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a large walk in shower. Our hosts were very accommodating and kind to us trying to speak to them in French.

We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at Au Nid des Thes. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street in the small town and has easy access to shops and restaurants. The location in the centre of Brantome meant easy access to the wonderful canals, abbeye, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a simple but very well done Continental with homemade preserves. Sandrine was very helpful and the room was large, well equipped and very clean. Excellent all round and we would stay there again.

We needed a hotel within 30 mins of Bordeaux airport on Sat morning and the chateau was perfect. We had a guided tour of the chapel and vineyard by Liz, who was charming and knowledgeable, as was her mother who looks after the B&B side of the business. Lovely breakfast.

Mooi gerenoveerde kamer in een prachtig pand!
Bed lag prima,heerlijke douche.
Wij komen al jaren in Limeuil,maar dan op de camping en eten ieder jaar weer met genoegen bij au bon accueil.Nu een paar dagen gelogeerd en het was heerlijk!Dank aan de gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van Veronique,die is geweldig. -

... wat mensen zeggen » running by very very nice people. We stayed three nights. On the second day, my wife got allergy and couldn't go out. The host lady, Veronique, was very nice to let us eat in our room and prepared food with care. We would thank them again.
The food was also excellent.
In addition, the location is nice although it took some time for us to find the way to reach on top of the hill. -
We arrive as 2 couples and were made very welcomed. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the owners extremely friendly. We had the reataurant evening meal which was succulent and sooo copious. Typical Dordogne meal of excellent quality. Breakfast was varied on a beautiful terrace. The situation of the hotel is stunning, at the top of a hill in a typical village.

Pierre warmly welcomed us offering to carry our bags, he helped us with our car taking us to his local mechanic to do an exhaust repair. Sonia did excellent breakfast and both spoke excellent English and were helpful and informative. Location was superb, bang in the middle of two ports with beaches, we had a fabulous terrace with an elevated view of the sea. Loved staying there and would definitely return when we can. Highly recommended.

Our room was very spacious and attractive. The breakfast was also very good. It is a very relaxing place to stay as it is a peaceful location in the vineyards. Our hostess was very welcoming. We were offered a choice of rooms and we found our room to be suitable and large. We were in France in July and it was hot so there was no getting around the heat, but the experience outweighed the lack of air con. We were shown around their winery and sampled some of their wines. Very nice and we bought some to bring back to Canada. A lovely restaurant in Cadillac was recommended and we had an amazing meal. Overall, a good experience.

Wij hebben hier 1 nacht overnacht. Echt een hele leuke chambre 'd hote. De eigenaren doen echt hun best om het je naar de zin te maken. Lekker gegeten 's avonds en 's ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt op het terras. Fijn zwembad en grote kamers. Echt een aanrader! -

and they enjoyed the additional onsite activities including tennis,
petanque and swimming. Linxe is close to beaches and a good place for

Incredibly beautiful castle set in gorgeous grounds. Huge spacious rooms that have retained the original beauty from many years ago, with multiple unique features. It's like staying in a National Trust house, except you can touch and use everything!
