  Onlangs hebben wij 4 onvergetelijke dagen doorgebracht in Chateau De Lamothe. Een prachtige en overwelmende ambiance en wat een gastvrije en kunstzinnige eigenaren Ongekend stijlvol en artistiek ingerichte kamers met een surplus aan comfort, een sfeervolle eetzaal,een bioscoop en biljartzaal .Gastronomische liefhebbers komen zeker aan hun trekken... wat mensen zeggen » mede door de kook*kunst van de kasteelheer. De rustieke kasteeltuin met zwembad en bronzen beelden,vervaardigd door de gastvrouw oogt fraai.De aangr - een goede keuken met prachtige kamers en vele mogelijkheden in de buurt om naast de la Mothe zelf leuke en ontspannende dingen te doen. vergeleken met andere gelegenheden is de prijs / kwaliteit verhouding zeer gunstig. Je krijgt voor hetzelfde geld aanzienlijk meer en betere service dan bij andere gelegenheden.

  Heel hartelijk, persoonlijk, we voelden ons echt verwend, vriendschappelijk - Château la Moune is located 20 minutes drive east of Bordeaux, thus making it an ideal location to tour the wine lands of St Emilion or further afield to the delightful town of Bergerac. A car is very useful but alternative means of travel can be arranged by the helpful and attentive Monsieur Francois – with his extensive knowledge of best value local wines and how to eat well. My - We were thrilled with our stay at Chateau La Mourne. The owners welcomed us with a warm greeting, a glass of wine and a tour of the beautiful castle. The room we had was enormous with a comfy bed and a beautiful ornate decor. To top it off, we are vegan (a very hard diet to follow in the small towns of France) and the owner went out of his way to find recipes and make us a delicious dinner including a beautiful chocolate cake. Again attending to our dietary needs for breakfast, we had fruit,

  The chateau was gorgeous, inside and out! The chateau sits on a river, just outside (5-10 min drive) of Saint-Emillion. We stayed in the Songe room, which was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The whole room was a lavender color, with a gorgeous shower room that is located inside one of the cylinder parts of the chateau... wat mensen zeggen » (attached to the room). The shower head was one of those big flat, "rain" spouts, and the tiles were a pearlescent color, covering the walls and floo - I stayed three nights at the charming, centuries old Chateau de Courtebotte. The family-owned chateau, about 12 km from Saint Emilion and not far from Bordeaux, sits on the banks of the Dordogne River and enjoys scenic river views. I had a large, comfortable room which was tastefully decorated and included an immense bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. Dinner was great. - Everything about place was perfectly clean and well-designed, the hosts Mike and Sophie were really friendly and helpful and the dinner we had we had was great , they took care to cater to our special wishes (food-wise) and we loved it.   Made to feel that you are welcome and not just another guest by Ed and Ineke from the moment that you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment which was far bigger than we expected. Bedroom large, kitchen enough facilities to be self catering if you wished. Chickens visited us every morning - The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. Also very relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Dinner each night was fantastic and good value.   Lovely small inn in lovely, small French town on historic Midi Canal. Small castle of King Henri iv, with lovely story of his romance with Quenn Margot, two very small blocks from hotel. Hotel owners young, energetic couple, gave us great ideas for what was to do and where we could eat when we arrived at 9pm on a Thursday evening in the summer. Worth a detour!! - This was a comfortable hotel, with friendly staff, and an adequate breakfast. It is well placed in Nerac for exploring this nice little town. We were able to park without trouble. The bathroom was nice, and we appreciated the tea/coffee facilities and comfortable seating in bedroom.
