The lady at the front desk was very helpful as I told her about the old
tired apartment I was in and showed her what was being advertised on the

The staff were awesome. From the pick up & return to the airport by the hotel shuttle bus was a fantastic service. This alone would make me stay here again. Their night shift driver "JP" even dropped me to the nearest Tram so i could use a more cost effective way into the city. Yeah it takes longer but for $3.50 return by tram to the city is a

myself and my new husband booked the wrong date we flew back into Australia,and at 11:30pm we were able to not only change it to that night-but a free shuttle came to get us!! the room was huge and so clean and bearly 5 mins from the airport. breaky was amazing and we even had a gym to go sweat some over eating from our hoiladay! the staff even helped us with a luggage scale so we could weigh our bags for our flight the next morning.

Hotel Marengo is just one of the best value for money accommodations along the Great Ocean Road. We enjoyed our brief stay here. It was dark, cold and wet when we arrived but got a lovely welcome and a nice room. It is old fashioned but that doesn't take anything away from it as that is its charm. It's clean and we had plenty of room. A lovely breakfast and some chat with the owners and other guess made s sorry we had to dash for the ferry -

Very helpful staff who arranged to leave our room key for collection so we could sight-see until the last minute of daylight before checking in! -

Two couples shared a family room and it was fine. A separate bedroom for two single beds and main room had the double bed so privacy was a little difficult. All was fresh and clean and comfortable with limited kitchen for breakfast which was great. Good value for a one night touring room. All on ne level and Parking outside the door was great.
