dinner every night, The standard of service and cooking was great & also gracious. The atmosphere in the dining room amongst the memorabilia was in accord with the colonial period & very comfortable

While we were at Hawley House there was only one other couple visiting. This gave us an experience of indulgent pampering. It feels very special to have an excellent chef cater for so few. The house and gardens are beautiful and in a lovely position close to the beach. We loved the decor, especially in the bedroom. Although we only had breakfast the quality of the food was excellent. The staff were exceptionally helpful.
We really wished we could have stayed longer.

this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. -

This adorable cottage is settled in the middle of a vineyard and olive grove , with a water view of the bay. Beautiful and peaceful. The 60' a decor was unique . Close to Hobart Airport
Extremely large house with lots of beds that would suit a large family. We had 4 people so it was cheap too.
The place is an old country house which was converted. Has a new kitchen and overall everything is well maintained, just don't expect things to be brand new. Lots of old books for guests to browse.
Very peaceful and great for seeing stars at night.

Our host Jeanette was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant. We appreciated her hospitality and learning more about the history of the Manor, the township and the local area. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and ideal for a peaceful getaway. -

New owners Ross and Leanne very welcoming. Rooms very comfortable, very oldie worldly. Handy, in the middle of town. I left some things behind and they are sending them on. We would go back again. -
I understand the current owner had other priorities, and I would stay here again, but not for 4 days.

The room I was allotted was a pleasant surprise in that it was spacious, recently updated, tidy, clean and had a flat panel TV / DVD and all the usual appliances. The hot water was nearly instant. There was a separate area for relaxing / having breakfast. The poached eggs & bacon I had was better that most an very well presented. Parking was not a problem. I'm told by locals that the onsight restaurant is well regarded.

There was a confusion regarding a spa room and we were upgraded with no
problems as soon as we discovered mistake. We also had another issue
which the owner/manager sorted out straight away with not a
problem. We were very impressed. Accomodation was comfortable.

... cosa dice la gente » & comfortable. Most spectacular is the penguin night-view, for which the resort staff is very kind to light up the penguin walking path so can have a fairly close view of penguin go-home scene. Highly recommended.
