  Katherine and Alistair were lovely people and made us feel right at home. The price was so reasonable, especially including breakfast. Katherine also cooked us dinner (for an additional charge) that was delicious. Such a cool old house in a beautiful setting. We loved wandering around saying hello to the cows and brand-new lambs and admiring their... cosa dice la gente » beautiful garden. All six of us loved our stay! - Very friendly host and hostess. They immediately made us feel at home. Cooked a lovely meal and had a wonderful conversation in a warm lounge. We had to leave early in the morning and an early start was no problem at all. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience and the overnight stay we will remember when we think of Tasmania.

  The Hanlon House hosts, Maxine and Graham, were very welcoming and obliging. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the guest's lounge had an open fire lit for our return after dinner at a nearby restaurant. There was also complimentary port and tea and coffee available there. Breakfast was home-cooked, made to order and delicious! - Our hosts were warm, friendly and professional with their attention to detail; meeting our every need. Our room had an amazing view. The king size bed with quality linen was very comfortable. On our arrival Maxine prepared a cheese platter and cuppa for us. The breakfast would put most restaurants to shame. We would highly recommend this amazing B&B to anyone who appreciates quality accommodation in the most wonderful location.

  Fantastic and friendly hosts, beautiful rooms and gardens and just a great feel to the place. We were up there for a mountain bike event and had to leave very early, but our hosts till got up before us to make us a cooked breakfast and ensure we had a good send off.   We have been to many B&B's and The Cove is up with the best of them. There was nothing that we could fault. Accommodation and home cooked meals were of top quality. - Hosts are awesome. Very friendly and helpful. Just 200 meters from ferry to Bruny Island.
