  I liked everything about The Waterfront Wynard. I only wish all motels tried this hard. The rooms, the decor, the breakfast, the lounge area, the location and above all the staff. A great find.   this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   There was a confusion regarding a spa room and we were upgraded with no problems as soon as we discovered mistake. We also had another issue which the owner/manager sorted out straight away with not a problem. We were very impressed. Accomodation was comfortable. Most spectacular is the penguin night-view, for which the resort staff is very kind to light up the penguin walking path so can have a fairly close view of penguin go-home scene. Highly recommended.

  We stayed in a Chalet/cabin. Older style but very neat,clean. Spacious & self contained. Bed was comfortable with clean & fresh linen. We had to change our reservation dates at very short notice & the Manager Ray was understanding & helpful.
