  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   There was a confusion regarding a spa room and we were upgraded with no problems as soon as we discovered mistake. We also had another issue which the owner/manager sorted out straight away with not a problem. We were very impressed. Accomodation was comfortable. Most spectacular is the penguin night-view, for which the resort staff is very kind to light up the penguin walking path so can have a fairly close view of penguin go-home scene. Highly recommended.

  Excellent location for us as we were picked up from airport by Travelodge and were able to walk a short distance to pick up our Apollo camper next morning & then return to Travelodge for our luggage. The staff were great and very helpful, the small restaurant was relaxed with great food and the room was very comfortable and roomy. Thank you Travelodge for making our first night in Tasmania so memorable. - The room was large and well maintained apart from one down-light above the kitchen sink which was not working. The suite had everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and cooperative. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Overall, I would give it an 8 out of 10.
