  I can't say enough good things about the Alto and staff . The room was clean ,comfortable and had little extras that made you feel at home.I had a mini box of chocolates and a welcome note waiting in my room as well as my luggage that they had kept secure for me for a week I was traveling to Caines . Walking distance to Southern Cross and Etihad... cosa dice la gente » ! Just Awesome Hotel - The beds were probably the most comfortable we had slept in over the 5 weeks we were away. The staff were very friendly and the manager went out of his way to help solve an issue I had with my myki card. He was also a valuable source of information on what to do in Melbourne

  The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The Medina is in a great location and we will definately be back. - I liked the friendly efficient staff, the excellent facilities and the closeness to the City.

  The hotel suited our requirements perfectly. The location was good, the staff were exceptionally helpful. The beds were so comfortable. Even loved the fact that there was a bathtub which meant we could soak our weary feet and legs after a good day out and about. - Have stayed at Rydges 2009, 2011 and now 2013.   This was our second stay at the Grand Hotel Melbourne and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The staff are always very friendly and eager to help were possible. All the rooms are very spacious and clean with the most amazingly comfortable beds. Ideal for city entertainment. Near tram, trains. Ideal location.staff very pleasant. Value for money. We return every year and it has a swimming pool..near the docklands and local shops (7 eleven), Crown complex, Aquarium, immigration house.

  This apartment included a full kitchen which I didn't expect - even a dishwasher, oven & Microwave. My husband was ill on the day we were leaving and the staff allowed us to keep our room for longer (free of charge). They also allowed us to store our luggage until we were ready to leave. - The location was perfect. The hotel facilities were good and because we wanted to make dinner in our room, the staff had no problem bringing up some more sauce- and frypans. Overall a good experience.
