  My adult daughter & I Were attending a workshop at Bardon. The accomodation was very clean & cost was good for us& even though it was close toYHA & Backpackers acc, it was not Noisy. - Its an old 1877 cottage what you would expect. Easy self check in and out. convienant location.Budget and cosy. Easy walking to city and surrounds.

  Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good. - The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

  The kitchen is big and well equipted. The room is clean and the security is awesome, there are security camera everywhere in public area. There is a wifi room you can use wifi which is great.   Excellent location, within walking distance to Brisbane CBD AND BRISBANE SOUTHBANK AREA.. reasonable price and the facilities are very comfortable and within our expectation. Close to footy grounds the Barricks movie/shopping precinct. Comfortable and excellant Restaurant actually one of the best I have eaten at in Brisbane, great breaky, coffee shop and pool area. I would defiantely go back.

  We stayed in an apartment facing the road with river views on the second storey. Nice big balcony and no road noise inside with doors closed. A very comfortable, nice sized apartment for our four day stay. Good supplies and restaurants in close walking distance, excellent on site parking and easy access in all directions. With the refurbished apartments and the completion of the proposed new ferry - I loved it's location in Park Road next to the restaurants- great for Sunday breakfast. And it was lovely having a river view from the balcony- very relaxing sitting there with a coffee. I also liked the interior design- where the front doors overlook the lobby.

  The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

  The helpfulness from staff esp with a toddler was appreciated. Allowing us to check out late was a god send to recover from bad accomm experience prior. Free Parking was a great thing! The organic cafe downstairs had amazingly good food which helped us2 relax not havg to trek anywhere. The layout of the apartment was well designed.
