  The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

The accomodation was very clean & cost was good for us& even though it was close toYHA & Backpackers acc, it was not Noisy. - Its an old 1877 cottage what you would expect.   We had a very spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a beautiful river view. The balcony came out from the entire width of the apartment with doors from both the bedroom and living room. I loved the doors which could be pushed back to include the balcony in the living space. Proximity to the free City Hopper ferries was great for transport. - The apartment was lovely, great views and we were up graded as we flew in early in the morning, and needed to get in to sleep, the manager was very helpful, and let us in early, and gave us a late checkout.
