The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had
the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa
Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min
walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views
over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw

from any street noise. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a
great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from
Rom -
The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has
clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was
really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently
rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The room was

well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was
very good. -
The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there,
my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of
charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was
still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better
room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this
excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

Ideal for my one night in Brisbane. I liked the fact that the house was typically Queensland style & the girl on reception was really helpful advising me on where to go n wot2 do. 10min walk to ferry n river front. Private room was comfortable n had a tv, which felt like a luxury, pluss Free Wifi!!!. This place was really quiet n not for ppl w

I got off the plane at 12:00 at night, and had to leave at 04:00 in the morning to catch the plane out and the accomodation was very understanding of this.Also I was able to freely come and go each day, and no one had a problem. I had a great stay with Bowen Terrace and it was well located for me to get to know Brisbane.

The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The apartment was spacious and furnished decently. The location is very convenient to the city- 1km walk to SouthBank Parklands and 2km walk into the city. -
Close proximity to all facilities. Didn't have to use car for travel, everything was within walking distance. A big plus, we would like to
