  We came as a group and booked both the "mansion" and the "coach house". Both were amazing - old houses on whose land I guess the other motel-like units were built. Overlooking the river and with lawns all round, a barbeque down by the river. Sure the houses were old, but still in good repair. With 5 bedrooms and three lounge rooms with working fir... cosa dice la gente » eplaces, the mansion was just one out of the box. Had a great time! - The staff and restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. And the food especially at the restaurant - we had dinner - was some of the most delicious my partner and I ever tasted. And the view of the Derwent river was also brilliant. The ducks came right up to our back door and we could feed them. It was so peaceful and adorable.

  Excellent food from restaurant and reasonably priced. Very polite, obliging staff. Was able to book in earlier than expected. Room served its purpose. - The staff are always very helpful with any questions you may have and nothing is a problem. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable.

  The Robin Boyd Pavilion was spacious and as depicted in the photos - all mod cons, aesops products,fine furnishings,complementary bottle of wine, worthy of the price per night! Upon arrival staff took us down to the pavilion in a golf buggy.   Our room was very clean and we were upgraded to a room that was on ground level. I had forgotten to ask for a ground floor unit, so we were pleasantly suprised when allocated the ground floor unit - We enjoyed our time, and would highly recommend it to anyone we knew were paying a visit to Hobart it was very clean, friendly, and comfortable
