We came as a group and booked both the "mansion" and the "coach house". Both were amazing - old houses on whose land I guess the other motel-like units were built. The staff and restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. And the food especially at the restaurant - we had dinner - was some of the most delicious my partner and I ever tasted. And the view of the Derwent river was also brilliant. The ducks came right up to our back door and we could feed them. It was so peaceful and adorable.

An absolute 5 out of 5 from beginning to end. Afforded me a sancturary to chill out in at the end of an exhausting business trip. An idyllic setting for some work I still had to get done. We went to Tasmania for the history and staying at Cleburne Homestead certainly made is feel that we were living in it. We stayed in a lovely old former servants quarters built in 1820's. it was very clean and bed was so comfortable! The whole setting of the place was absolutely beautiful! The owners were lovely and ever so helpful. Highly recommending this to our friends and family! aaaaaa+

Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue
- the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location

for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50
for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to
have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability.
Overall a satisfactory one night stay.

Excellent food from restaurant and reasonably priced. Very polite, obliging staff. Was able to book in earlier than expected. Room served its purpose. -

The staff was amazing friendly. We booked very late on the same night we were staying and ended up showing up after office hours. They not only let us in, but after realizing the room we had booked was not cleaned, upgraded us to a better accommodation for no extra charge. Can't express enough how thankful we are. -

Female host was exceptionally warm, informative & professional. Excellent facilities, spotless & charming ambience. Great garden and restful areas inside & out to put the weary traveller at ease.
