Everything. From the design, color of the motel to the interior layout. The motel looks retro and the layout of the room is modern. Its very clean, spacious, comfortable and new. A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! Otherwise, lovely hotel, would love to come and stay there for a quiet summer beach break! We stayed at La Costa several times already, and service and comfort have always been

Staff were very attentive and helpful. Rooms are in the process of being upgraded. The one we were in had a new bathroom and the manager informed us that the bedrooms are being refurnished and updated as an ongoing project. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through. We loved the location and the spaciousness of the penthouse perfect for my birthday party. Jayne Rob and Meg couldn't do enough and the little touches were some of the things that made our stay even better. I will be back and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The views from our balcony was amazing. We loved hearing the waves overnight and waking to the beautiful sunrise over the ocean while I sat with a coffee on my balcony. Older building but apartment 15 had high quality fittings and was a real surprise inside. Great view and a decent balcony. If all apartments in the building are equiped and fitted out in the same manner then this is an ideal destination. Great value and attentive service from management. All in all, would stay there again.

The decor of our apartment had been updated so it was a very nice modern 3.5star. We had the bottom floor which was handy to the pool for the kids.
Staff very friendly. The size of the apartment was very good. The heated spa was awesome. It was not beachfront but still close to clubs and shops so we enjoyed the daily walk. -

The lady that owns and runs this motel was fabulous. She called me on the morning that I was arriving to see if I needed to be picked up from the airport! Transfers to and from Gold Coast Airport were included! She was so helpful! The room was lovely and clean, beds were comfy. Lots of little special touches that would make me recommend for short

Everything. Karen was wonderful. We are both gluten and dairy intolerant. She said that was not a problem and provided a fantastic breakfast for us. The staff on reception were extemely helpful and friendly. Great location, so close to the beach and restaurants. Only a few minutes from the airport. Ideal for anyone with young children or those without own transport.
Apartment well equipped with all we needed.
Outdoor pool was comfortably heated and spa excellent.
