Everything. From the design, color of the motel to the interior layout. The motel looks retro and the layout of the room is modern. Its very clean, spacious, comfortable and new. They just had the upper level renovated. Simply love it. Diane was very kind, helpful and friendly. She made us feel like home. Pick us from the airport, intro us around,

A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! Staff were very attentive and helpful. Rooms are in the process of being upgraded. The one we were in had a new bathroom and the manager informed us that the bedrooms are being refurnished and updated as an ongoing project. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through. As we were heading off to the airport early next morning this motel was ideally situated for us, being close to public transport from Brisbane and a few minutes walk from the airport.
Comfortable facilities, not extravagant, but more than adequate for travellers.

This was my second time in the last few weeks staying at Golden Shores and like the first stay it did not disappoint. It's proximity to everything(beach, airport & some good restaurants) is excellent as well as spotless comfortable rooms. It is all that you need for a short, well priced stay.

It was a perfect to relax sitting out on our balcony looking over the pool and palms swaying.
Our one bedroom was perfect, very clean and everything if we wanted to cook a meal. The bed was nice and firm and the shower was very good.

We loved the location and the spaciousness of the penthouse perfect for my birthday party.
