Location near airport, good if your arriving by plane and just staying few nights. A bit of from action in Coolangatta, but distance is still walkable. Hostel has got free shuttle bus to town during the day. Good kitchen. Younger girl (with dark hair) working in the hostel was really kind. Internet worked fine, nice tv-lounge with sofas. -

Great accommodation and close to GC airport. Stopped over night with my mum who's in her 70's and we were flying out next early morning. This was my second time in the last few weeks staying at Golden Shores and like the first stay it did not disappoint. It's proximity to everything(beach, airport & some good restaurants) is excellent as well as spotless comfortable rooms. It is all that you need for a short, well priced stay.

Rooms were spotless, well equipped & extremely spacious. Pool was sparkling clean, gardens well maintained, easy access to the Gold Coast Highway & very close to beach -
Unit was clean and comfortable, with two large bedrooms, two bathrooms and washing facilities. Close enough to walk to the beach. Units were quiet.

We found Bombora Resort nice and peaceful with a great view over the park. Not to mention close to at least 3 supermarkets & many bars / cafés / restaurants. Easy & close links to motorway with airport not far though not heard. Not brand new or five star but brilliant value for money. Count on us to stay again as its great place to rest ye

Good location for most places in Coolangatta but also a quiet spot with a nice outlook over the park. While it is an older property, it is comfortably furnished and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is value for money. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Location and view amazing. Cafe across the road on the beach had beautiful food then you had plenty of places to walk off your breakfast. Beautiful area. I would definitely stay again and would recommend if beds were replaced and made comfy -

My trip was brief due to family matter and I hope to go back soon to have more time to explore the area. Ross at the motel was a great help to me due to my visiting circumstances, that is why I returned as I had stayed just over a month before to see family. It was a treat for my family and I to stay in a familar environment with a friendly host knowing that a warm shower was awaiting for all of us. It is close to eating places and shops and was a good stepping off place to do what we had planned the following day.Ross and family are great hosts.

I stayed here recently with my wife and son, and I was really impressed by the whole package; the family room was a large size, with a workbench for my son and I to each work from our laptops while my wife watched TV, and there were the necessary facilities for us to feel at home (microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board).
