Great hotel in a great location. Slightly out of the centre but only a 15 minute walk away. Lots of restaurants and bars only five minutes away.
The biggest comfiest bed I've slept in for ages. Really funky modern interior. Yes the rooms are small but perfectly formed. The shower is simply amazing. The room was spotless with clean bedding

Really lovely staff that were very helpful indeed, polite and pro-active. Great modern vibe to the place, nice residents as well. Really well situated in a nice quiet but cool part of town, reminded me of a mini NY warehouse. Nice places to eat close by. Amazing power shower and LED TV over the bed. Very comfy bed with crisp white sheets, apparently egyptian? Yes I will be going back....

Superb hotel. Stayed 1 night on a business trip, rooms spotlessly clean, hotel obviously has just been refurbished as everything is brand new.
Location is very central, close to business district and shopping. Staff very friendly, breakfast had a good selection.

central location - I didn't actually stay in the hotel because we wanted to stay on Valentine's Night and we got 2 single beds instead of a double. The hotel had other people who had the same problem and I think it was due to the online booking agent rather then the hotel. There were no double rooms so we had to book another hotel. The fact that the staff were focussed on the guests' needs at all times. They were obviously working as a team under the ethos that enthusiasm and professionalism establishes the standard of the hotel - and it worked!
The concept of the hotel was interesting (an eye hospital transformed into a luxury hotel) and that difference added to its charm.

We used Hotel du Vin as a base for a hen party and enjoyed drinks in the bar, booked Afternoon Tea and a Cocktail Masterclass, along with the accommodation. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect for everyone and suited our trip. A lovely weekend and appreciated the little touch of having the Hen's name outside the function room we were using for the Cocktail Masterclass. Very warm welcome at reception and from guys on the door. Lovely spacious twin room, really cosy beds, excellent powerful shower, lovely massive towels...everything was spotless! Made use of the fantastic leisure facilities too - v well equipped gym, lovely swimming pool / sauna / steam room and jacuzzi. Highly recommend!!!
