Due to travelling in separate cars my husband arrived at 8pm, however due to weather conditions I was severely delayed. Friendly personal service from the owner couple, no fuzz check-in and breakfast procedures.
The motel is located right by the old highway, thus easy to reach, and nicely nowadays not very noisy when the new bypass takes through traffic past Ballina.
Good efficient two way air-con, gave the needed warmth during the cool winter night when we stayed there

On site manager (Rob) of great assistance with everything and responsive to requests and any issues, all of which were minor. Location is superb, with great coastal/river walks and scenery. Local shop/cafe and hotel very handy (only 300 metres) to save going into town centre. Good facilities in room. -

The manager was friendly, I was attending daughters wedding at Byron bay, Michael prepared he room for us by 11 am so we could unpack fresh up soon after 11am. The wedding started at 2pm. That was no trouble at all. -
friendly owners, allowed us to check-in earlier so that we could attend a wedding. Would stay there again.
