The motel is located right by the old highway, thus easy to reach, and nicely nowadays not very noisy when the new bypass takes through traffic past Ballina.

On site manager (Rob) of great assistance with everything and responsive to requests and any issues, all of which were minor. Location is superb, with great coastal/river walks and scenery. The manager was friendly, I was attending daughters wedding at Byron bay, Michael prepared he room for us by 11 am so we could unpack fresh up soon after 11am. The wedding started at 2pm. That was no trouble at all. -
friendly owners, allowed us to check-in earlier so that we could attend a wedding. Would stay there again.
