  The room was quirky inasmuch that it was on two levels with a beautiful refurbished bathroom, a dressing table area and wardrobe, then up four stairs to the bedroom and sitting area. Nothing was lacking in facilities. THe restaurant and bar areas were always busy and popular with walkers and visitors to the area. I shall definitely stay at Wateredg - The Wateredge Inn is in a wonderful location right on the lake. The views out to the boats bobbing on the lake were lovely. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable as was the bathroom. The inns lounge and dining areas were very nice, with again a beautiful outlook. The two Scottish sisters who waited on us for breakfast were lovely and friendly as was Ryan the bar man. The countryside around Ambleside was really beautiful and well worth a longer visit.

  We liked everything! The suites are perfect, with lovely appointments. The owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It's very very clean. It's close to everything at Waterhead and only a mile from Ambleside, with good bus service to everywhere in the Lake District. I'd return to the Lake District just to stay at the Quaysiders Club. - Great... mitä ihmiset sanovat » location. I loved the couch as it was really squishy and comfortable. The shower was neat because you could program it to the exact temperature and pressure you wanted it. The provided coffee, milk, biscuits, and hot chocolate were _sublime_. The free WiFi was a great perk. Wonderful ambiance for small get-togethers.
