  The staff were the most friendliest people we have ever come across! The rooms were spotless! The location was ideal for walking in the town of Ambleside and to get a boat ride to the other locations such as bowness. The breakfast was wonderful and there was a wide variety of options to choose from. There was a good selection of DVDs available. Parking arou - The spotless room, it was ever so comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious! Plenty of choice. Ola and Peter were exceptionally friendly and cheerful and really made you feel welcome. Loved the complimentary bottle of water and biscuits that we received in our room on both days we stayed. Location is great, it is in walking distance of all the shops in Ambleside. We did a lovely walk to Grasmere while we stayed there.   Before our arrival Ethna the owner contacted us by email, allowing us to check in earlier than the 3pm stated on their website. The location is fantastic, easily accessible by car, with a reserved parking space included in the price of the room. The town centre is easily accessible from a few different paths and staircases that lead straight in - We hadn't stayed in a B and B before but this was one of the most wonderful experiences from start to end.   The location was ideal for us , we like to shop and enjoy the restaurants and bars in the town centre. The owners George and Lindsey were very friendly and made our stay all the more enjoyable, George was very clued up on the local area and was a very chatty host at breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite was of a good standard. Overall it was a very nice place to stay particulary as 16 appears to be the maximum number of guests.
