This eco-friendly property features a heated swimming pool and a deck which overlooks the valley. Each individually decorated room has garden views. Our Belgian hosts did their best to help us to have a good time and to plan our onward trip. They gave lots of good advice. Rooms were the best we had on our trip so far. They were nicely decorated with a combination of African artifacts and many items in earth tone colors. The breakfast was excellent, even though we were the only guests at that time a good buffet was offered. There were many Belgian beers on offer in the bar. On some days a three course dinner is offered, which we unfortunatel.

The hosts Alain & Maude were both friendly, knowledgable about the area & went out of their way to be helpful. The views of the mountain from the roof terrace were magnificent and the whole package was excellent value for money. Alain was a very nice host and gave us great tips on the area and how to ride to Stellenbosch with a great view on the way ! The sunset from their mountain view terras is absolutely amazing. Food was excellent, hosts Alain and Maude were great - very friendly and concerned for our comfort and well-being. View and accomodation were excellent. Very kind and helpful people. The food was excellent. We had planned to stay one night but stayed there. Nice warm hospitality. Excellent value for money, good location in a lovely town, modern place and friendly hosts. Can absolutely recommend. A great overnight stay with an amazing view of Montagu. We must come back in Summer to enjoy the pool and deck!. Great experience and education of Belgian beer. Facilties are clean and the view from the deck is spectacular. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time. View is stunning. Hostess was delightful. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room but was available on request. Room could have had a few more "extra's" - there was no milk to have with coffee and some mod-cons (refrigerator and TV/Radio) would have been nice but not essential. Not especially happy with the "automatic" added service charge for dinner. No television to watch the rugby. No shampoo. Too many stairs for old/disabled folk.
