Housed in a Victorian building dating from 1899, Koo Karoo Guest Lodge offers home-style accommodation in the heart of Montagu. It offers gated off-road parking, a small outdoor pool, and BBQ facilities. Koo Karoo offers en suite rooms and spacious self-catering units, each with a private entrance and free WiFi. Some rooms offer views of the lodge’s garden. The main house features high ceilings and Oregon-pine floors. The lodge is easily accessible from the scenic Route 62, connecting Montagu to Cape Town. It is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants within the village.

Very well-priced accommodation with quite a bit of space (except the kitchen - as there is no living room table we were eating like in a bar, in a row in the kitchen). The owner gave us good advice on what to do and where to find things. We stayed 2 nights and spent the day in the nearby Montagu hot springs which was perfect for our kids. The town feels a nice place to be on the way back from little karoo towards Capetown.

Comfortable, affordable, pleasant, helpful owner. Good location value for money clean facilities. No air conditioning very hot in bedroom at night. More reliable wireless internet would be good. Whats not to like?. The room seemed a little tired - creaky bed, and it's been a very long time since I saw a pink bathroom suite. But it was clean and warm, so it didn't spoil the stay. Nothing!. nothing to dislike here. None. Nothing to complain about. Nothing really to complain about. Cant think of anything.... interior decoration needs attention coffee -- can give something better than Koffiehuis.
