The B&B is in the middle of the village in an old house just across the church and within walking distance to most of the restaurants. If you love a modern room you will not feel comfortable. We felt very welcomed, although we only booked two hours prior to our arrival. Our room was beautiful with a lot of detailed and we had the impression the owner had a lot of joy in putting the details together. The host gave us some tips for restaurants nearby.

We could walk everywhere and the advice on places to visit from our very friendly hosts was great. The breakfast was also very good and set us up for a day of touring. Nice and neat! The owner is very friendly, make you feel warm welcome. I like the delicious breakfast in the beautiful dining room. very Art/craft design is arranged in each beg space room. For the special price it is worth to stay longer and enjoy all the activities in montagu.The most perfect place in center town and walking distance from great restaurants and little shops. The staff is great and the breakfast is amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean and the muskadel in the room make it perfect. Save parking for your car as well. Very charming building where one feel the history of days gone by.Fantastic breakfast and very spaciuos and comfortable room..Less than 2 hours drive from Cape Town. Well kept by handson management from the owners, Tielman and Corrie. The owners are hands on friendly and the service is excellent. We stayed in a cottage which was heated and well appointed. The room is beautifully detailed and we could feel the love and joy the owners put into furnishing it... Tillman and Connie are great hosts. The decor is amazing and although we didn't use the pool, it did look very inviting. The views from the rear and front gardens are amazing. We had a very pleasant stay here. Mountains, cleanliness of B&B, friendliness of host. Fantasti breakfast, beautiful garden with great views. Location. Good location, nice breakfast, very friendly owners. Unfortunately, there was not shower, only a bathtub in the room and the toilette was in the cupboard - which is ok. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Everything was outstanding. Nothing. Lack of private TV or small radio in rooms. toilet was noisy. no kids allowed.
