The facility was nice, clean , comfortable, and easy to deal with. We
were a student research group, and the staff were accommodating and
they didn't bother us when we had our meeting in the lobby. I
appreciated that. -

I loved the gardens that led to the dunes and the beach. The staff was
very nice. I took advantage of the three day deal with the beach
bus/downtown trolley. I really liked that. I caught the bus right
outside of La Fiesta. I saved gas, and didn't have to pay the $10 a
day parking in town. I could jump on adn off the trolley all day. The

It was very clean and peaceful, on the beach, and not too far from downtown St. Augustine. The lady at the desk during check-in was very helpful in making suggestions of local places and giving directions. -

I Liked that the Hotel was directly across from the City Pier and beach.
There were Restaurants, Bar & Grills and other eateries in walking
distance. Also close to regular shopping plazas for general shopping
needs. THe staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. They even
offer complementary ironing boards and iron if needed. Best of a

The clerk (I think her name was Rachel - on duty 3/4 and 3/5
evenings). I had made reservations a couple of months in advance and had
forgotten where. A group of us stopped the night before my reservation,
and the other ladies wanted to stay at the same place I was staying. We
checked several motels in that area. None were as kind as Rachel! She
not only booked my friends, but found me in the reservation list.

Easy to get anywhere from that location. Everyone Friendly.Lounge is a great, locals introduce themselfs everyone laughs and has a great time. My 2nd return there. I'll be back next year. -
Staff was very friendly. Marcus who works the front desk moved us to a room with a more desirable beach view without me even asking.

The Island Inn is smaller and owner operated, friendly and responsive to guests, has competitive rates, close ramp access to the beach, is in a quieter and safe location, but with stores nearby. In fact I have returned for another week! -
