Absolutely everything from the muffins at breakfast to the colored
towels in the rooms. This place is wonderful and we will never stay
anywhere else when we are in Ruidoso!! The service is great and the
covered patio is an awesome place to read and watch the hummingbirds.

Frankly, when I first checked in, the room overlooked the parking lot.
It was my 28 wedding anniversary trip and I felt I wanted a more
"romantic" view. The young lady at the reception desk
(Carolina) was not only understanding, she was fantastic! She upgraded
us to a view of the mountain and the lake. It was breathtaking....like a

Our experience at the Inn was exceptional. The setting
in which the Inn is built and maintained is beautiful: the lake, the hills and trees, the walking trails brought a sense of contentment.
The facilities are first-rate.
The food is delicious and abundant--three buffets with amazing choices!?! We celebrated my Bride's birth- day on the 29th at Wendell's

The hotel was comfy n clean, close proximity to shops n restaurants - actually it seemed to be right in the middle of town. The staff are kind n helpful with options of sites to see. That museum by Billy the Kid was phenomenal in this couples opinion. Talking a walk by the trails at Grindstone Lake was the highlight of our trip. Hotel Ruidoso

Room was nice...more like a hotel than a motel....close to restaurants
within walking distance...clean fresh air...breakfast was more like a
motel but ok...i would stay there again, but if price was equal, would
prefer Inn of the Mountain Gods as there is more ambience and a casino
on property...disadvantage of The inn however is expensive restaurant,
so location to restaurants is distant there

The room and the area were very nice. The staff was very helpful in
getting us setup in our room and provided us with discounts on lift
tickets and ski equipment rentals. We often saw deer wondering around in
the area which was very nice. Located within walking distance of several
ski shops, about five minutes from the turnoff for Ski Apache and a

Our stay was very comfortable, Kitchen was very well equiped....Awh i can go on and on. It is true what The Village Lodge states, Same as a hotel price.......but OMG! you get so much more. i highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay there again.
