Everything! We've stayed there in the past, and found the Dorset Inn to be charming; the staff bent over backwards to be helpful; and the food was excellent. The building is an Antique and is decorated accordingly, although the facilities are modern.

Absolutely beautiful! We can not wait to go again in the winter. All of the staff were very friendly & courteous. The views are breathtaking.
The rooms were very comfortable with silky feeling sheets.
The pool area was plenty big with room for kids & the adults along with a nice bar area to get food & beverages.

This is a fantastic place that I highly recommend to families, couples, and adventure travelers wanting an unpretentious and hip place that is fully renovated yet still historic.

The 19th century charm of this inn is incredible. It's a gorgeous old estate home with unbelievable gardens and view of the Vermont mountains. The owners are lovely people that give you the feeling you're spending the weekend in their country home. It's stately, but unpretentious. -

Even a 10-story Hilton can be called an Inn these days, but the Norwich Inn is more nearly the real thing. The first floor of the 1890 building houses a restaurant and bar, and a pleasant front room with fireplace. The two upper floors are divided into 17 guest rooms of various shapes. Upon arrival our room had been mistakenly assigned to another guest.
The desk staff worked diligently to find another for our first night. Upon checkout, without my asking my bill had been lowered and the hotel had taken the initiative. We all mistakes. Smart suites admitted it and did something to compensate. Thank you. It was greatly appreciate

The service was excellent.
We inadvertently booked a smoking room but they kindly switched us to a non-smoking room. The manager James was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and met any request we had.
He went above and beyond. both in terms of service and professionalism.
