Catherine the host was wonderful. The house has a great location and the
history and architecture of the house are fascinating. Catherine's
own history and the family artifacts from South Africa and other parts
of the world just make this a jewel of a place to stay since there is
something interesting in the house in every room. Price comes with a

good full breakfast that should meet most needs but even if it did not
I'm sure your hosts would take care of anything you needed. I'd
recommend this -
We stayed one night on our way to Niagara falls. Had a party of five and stayed in two rooms. We received a friendly welcome and tour of home by host. Rooms were large and quiet. Beds very comfortable. Home has an interesting history. Current host/owner has decorated the home very well with furniture and items from around the world. Breakfast was excellent. Many wineries are located within a short driving distance in the Finger Lakes region.

Very Clean, Friendly Staff, Excellent Breakfast and the room was very new and the beds were very nice and the linens and pillows were very nice. The staff coudn't have been nicer. They should be rewarded for their friendliness including the breakfast area staff. -

I especially liked the friendly and helpful staff. The welcoming atmosphere when we first arrived was very nice. The location is close to some scenic views, a lake, and a resort area, yet it is also just off the interstate. -

The Bayside Inn is right on the shore of Lake Otesago and the property
is beautiful with a rustic feel. We stayed in the Inn, not the cottages,
but the room was clean and even better than we expected. They even have
cheap canoe/kayak rentals for the lake. Totally a find, this hotel. -

We left in a hurry and my girlfriend left her gold chain and heart
necklace on the bathroom counter top . The management call me an hour

At a time of year when any hotel within a few miles of Saratoga Springs seems to have jacked up prices (end of the racing season), this hotel was affordable, clean, comfortable, and near enough for us to stay while moving our child into Skidmore. -

Your establishment was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Other than the comment in the box to the right, we enjoyed our stay. But, unfortunately having a good sleep is important and as a result, we probably wouldn't go back. -

The staff was friendly the breakfast included was decent for a free
buffet breakfast. Room was clean and quiet. Pool was nice as was spa.
Hotel was 15 minutes away from Lake Ontario so it was nice to explore
the area. There are many places to eat other than chains if you are
willing to drive 15 minutes or so. -
