The location was excellent. The facility met all of my basic needs and the staff were helpful in all respects. A treat for me was getting bottled water in my room each day! I highly recommend this hotel for average joe traveller! - Excellent value; great location, all the essentials, no frills but we weren't paying for frills.

The hotel staff at the front desk was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay such a pleasure. Katherine and Anne were the best hostesses ever! The restaurant had a variety of good food. We enjoyed sitting in the open portion where we could watch the waterfront activity.

Maui is a beautiful small island and Kahului is conveniently located to explore the many sites it has to offer or get on exiting tours.
The hotel has an excellent activity desk that helps book tours/shuttles and advises which sites to visit.
The bus service from Kahului is good and cheap to visit the south side of the island for swimming or snor

Staff was very polite. Rooms were clean beds made bathrooms clean. Saturday night prime rib and crab buffet was excellent. Very affordable and the setting was very nice. Should I ever visit Maui again I will be sure to stay at Maui beach hotel.

Location was very good, a couple of steps from the beach. Unit was good and had a lot of additional stuff like beach chairs, a small wagon (very useful), picnic cooler, bodyboards etc. Basically everything you need while going to beach. Although it is listed as not having Wi-Fi, actually our unit had free Wi-Fi. Pool was decent. -

Casual, low-key check-in and administrative arrangements.
Very clean. The on-site caretaker was quite helpful.
The room was small - it was large enough for me and so I have no complaint, but it would have been rather squeezy for a couple. -

I loved my room 1622! The view was spectacular, proximity to the beach was incredible! The value was outstanding! It's a hidden gem where for a motel price you get a luxury resort view. The staff was really friendly and they accommodated everything I requested! I've had an amazing experience, I'd like to stay in room 1620 next time. -

I thought the staff were great at making the trip memorable for us. They went out of their way to accomodate us with a tour and even provided amazing videos of our snorkelling. The beds and rooms were clean and comfortable. Thanks!! -

The service upon check in was great! The room I stayed in was nice and
very clean! It had everything I needed! Loved the staff! I did meet the
owners of the property, Dela and Terry! Such wonderful people! Very
family oriented! I left there that morning with the aloha spirit because

I liked that the staff helped me with places to visit and tour around to. They gave me the "locals" view of the island. Own room was nice and bed was very comfy.
Perfect for 1-2 night stay/stop over.
