  We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our journey around the West Coast and had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We stayed on the second floor which had a small dining area and outside patio which we used alot. The room was a bit on the small side but had everything we needed and was clean. Location is great. If you're able I would recommend trying to walk up and down this at leas - As a mom traveling with 2 teenagers, I thought this was a great place. It's an older hotel that could use updating, but it's clean, staff is friendly and it has free parking. It's perfect if you do not plan on spending a lot of time in your room. We left every morning by 9am and came back around 7pm, so it was perfect for the amount of time we spent there. It was a 10-15 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and 4 blocks to the top of Lombard where it becomes the crookedest street. Easy walk to catc

  The location is good, the neightboorhood is really quiet and safe and there is some small places to grab something to eat... close to lombard street which is reall close to the fisherman wharf and its easy to catch the buses from there... the place is clean and really confy.. we were not expecting much because of the price..but once we got there w... lo que la gente dice » e were amazed, cuz the room was really nice and look really fancy actually, cable and wifi were good and the personal was really helpfull. - It looks a bit run down on the outside, but inside the rooms have been renovated and are very nice indeed: meticulously clean, very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave in ours, very handy. Spotless bathroom. Free (ample) parking in SF is invaluable. Location is very good too, just a very short walk off the lively Union street, convenient for buses... Overall, definitely recommended, we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area.

  The location was great because we were within walking distance to the palace of fine arts and some parks, restaurants, and a movie theater. Public transportation was right around the corner as well. - Location was great and staff helped plan my travels very friendly
