  The staff was accommodating, informative, and friendly. The location was absolutely phenomenal for the price--walking distance to L and bus stops. Also, our check out was at 11am but our bus didn't leave Chicago until 3 pm so the front desk allowed us to leave our - I read reviews of the Ohio House Motel before booking, and could not believe all the positive reviews about the staff. But somehow they exceeded my expectations! So friendly and helpful, they really made us feel like they were to make our stay as pleasant as possible...a claim made by all hotels and motels, but a promise not always kept. Keep it up! - The hotel is a little gem. It was very clean, nicely decorated, very friendly helpful staff, great location with a lot nearby especially restaurants. The beds and bedding were really comfortable, loved the soft ribbed blankets and we didn't hear people talking through the walls. The Chicago magazine was really helpful and Pizza Ora was a great find.

  Above all expectations: this motel was the best and cheapest we stayed in during this trip. Newly remodeled clean room, they don't have a baby crib though, but gave us another bedspread and couple bed sheets. The room we got is huge, with a great big bed.
