  The staff is extremely accommodating. The continental breakfast is also outstanding. The motel itself is a little outdated and the tv's should probably be replaced... but, I can watch tv at home.   The location - the view from the balcony at the front looking out over the sea was fantastic. We had booked a weekend away during our main holiday to Orlando to celebrate my 50th birthday and we were upgraded by the hotel to ocean view rooms. The most friendly bunch of gals. Housekeeping was very good, just took til the end of the day to get to our room, but very nice girls. Pool was very clean, continental breakfast was awesome, and plenty to choose from...location was perfect beach was right there, couldn't have been a better place...we highly suggest this hotel....loved it.

  We loved the unique decorations of every room. The courtyard and rooms are adorable and one of a kind. If you want to break away from the monotonous looks/feels of big chain hotels come to this small, relaxed, clean hotel. The beach is literally 2 blocks away so there is no need to find parking. We plan to spend every Florida vacation at the Palms Retro. - This is a nice, unique hotel that was quite comfortable. An amusing change from the larger chain hotels. As expected, the rooms are older and you just have to be ready for that but you can't beat the location. Good value and an interesting experience.

  The service was superb from the time we arrive for check-in, to the docent who introduced himself shortly after our arrival ... everything. - Staff was very friendly and helpful the moment we drove up. A bit pricey but worth the extra $ to not have to worry about anything.

  The location of the hotel to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean/Beach. Our room opened directly to a path to the Beach. The room was spacious, clean and conveniently located to the hotel's adminities (breakfast, desk, pool/beach). The pool was fantastic (the kids and adults loved the pool with the water falls). We asked about chairs that were higher to see over the railing and were given two chairs from the bar. Michelle was so helpful made our room with a view so much more enjoyable. I do suggest that you put chairs that sit higher in the rooms with ocean views.
