This is the best Hotel in the area from what we saw. The view was the best. We started in a "partial view" suite which was more of a full view. We upgraded to the "Presidential suite" which was a full view and a step up in luxury. Beach Haven Inn though an older facility is basic, clean, comfortable and economic accomodation within steps of the Pacific Beach boardwalk, but at the quieter north end of Crystal Pier. Having a kitchenette and pool deck BBQ makes it easy to have some meals in when not enjoying the many restaurants in PB. The heated pool and hot tub were great.

For the amount we paid we were very pleased. Walking distance to the
beach and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable! When I read the
description of the room it didn't say there was a fridge, microwave
or coffee maker...when we walked in the room there was a full kitchen!
The staff was always walking around and cleaning up even late at night.
One staff member saw us up late and alerted us he had a parking spot
open up front so we got to move our car closer.

Our stay was wonderful, the staff at the hotel were so friendly and
accommodating. Janine the front desk manager sent us a bottle of
Champaign for my husbands 60th birthday! That was just so sweet. The
hotel had a luau, paddle boat ride to sister hotel, the food was

Very helpful staff. Clean, beautiful layout with 2 pools overlooking Mission Bay / marina. Very relaxing environment. I look forward to returning. We went to the FireFly bar (got in about 9:30 pm) and did not go to any other restaurant/bar. We left our car there the next day as we went to Sea World - walking distance and there is a shuttle.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the location was within walking
distance to Belmont Park. We were also able to rent bikes and cruise the
boardwalk as well as the bay. We rented a kayak and tootled around the
bay. The room was comfortable and quiet. At check in, the clerk gave us

Loved the location, easy to get to the Zoo and Seaworld. Pool area and spa was fantastic, quiet place to relax and enjoy a drink while the kids are in the pool!! Room lovely and great having the separate lounge area. We have been travelling around California for the last few weeks from New Zealand and this hotel is voted the kid's favourite so far!!

I'm from Australia and i was staying at another hotel near Beverly Hills and payed a fortune to stay there with no breakfast/horrible service. When we came to this hotel to come to SeaWorld the lady at the front desk was very lovely and told us all the popular places to eat and things to see near the hotel and pointed out discounts and sightseeing

The place was within walking distance of where we wanted to spend most of our time. Fairly quite but a few kids seemed to be having a good time. Beds were comfortable and the bath seemed recently remodeled (even granite counter top) with a huge shower where, I suspect, the tub use to be, which was fine for us.
We will no doubt return one day, especially since, for the location, the price was pretty reasonable.

Love that this is not just a "pets accepted" hotel. They genuinely enjoy and are friendly to the animals and the owners. My dogs loved having a vacation with Mom and Dad. We were within steps of the beach. Sitting on the balcony day or night with a beautiful view of the ocean, dog beach, the jetty. We didn't have a dog, but the hotel was very dog friendly with dog washing facilities at end of building. I also liked the fact that we had a big refrigerator & microwave. The pool was also wonderful.

Location of course, walk outside and you are steps from the beach, right
on the ocean. The entire staff was incredibly helpful in a chill, laid
back way that I greatly appreciated. Nice to have a fridge and a little
kitchen, kind of like a little beach cabin. I like the patio's too.
