  The hotel is only about a year old per the staff so everything is new, clean, modern decor etc. Location was useful for us being close to relatives but also major highway routes and about 1.5 miles to the nearest Metro station to head into attractions in DC. Hotel is located in a small retail zone with several "streets" of stores, restaurants, caf... lo que la gente dice » es etc like a little neighborhood. There's even a movie theater! The area itself is very modern and newly constructed. Complimentary breakfast buffett - The stuff were more than awesome. Everything is clean and organised. Location is useful, there is a bus station 10 min walk distance which leads u to the all attractions area in DC. There are plenty of shopping stores and restaurants around the Hotel. The area where the Hotel is located is modern and has a lot of landscape. I really do encourage anyone who wants to make a trip to DC to stay at Hyatt Falls church Merrifield
