The building itself is magnificent - harks back to a more refined time. We were a group of 5 "mature" college girlfriends, having our every-other-year reunion. en route to Hawaii. Given room upgrade not quite a suite but corner room views both ways. Biggest chocolate strawberrys/and cake and cream ive ever seen as a special gesture and free. staff and conciege extra polite and helpful.As previous comments this is a luxury standard by which all others should be judged the besr hotel we have stayed in and weve stayed in some top ones. the hotel is steeped in history take the trouble to enquire????

otherwise I would have been massively inconvenienced. AllCity (the

Very nice apartment, clean, spacious and comfortable. The price-value was great, it was cheaper than a 5star hotel room. Even though the company said I couldn't leave my my luggage for a couple of hours after my check out, I had no problem, as this was a main concern.

I was upgraded on arrival to a suite and a late check out the day I left. I had a very bad fall on my second day in Washington and the staff were excellent, helped me get cleaned up, find a clinic, and sent me fruit and a card to wish me a speedy recovery.
