  1) Handiness to national park(s) & historic district (most of "old towne Gettysburg), unique restaurants, and related- theme shopping. 2) Reasonable price for a prime location--within block of major portion of Gettysburg National park. 3) Older facilities but well kept up. 4) Ability to park at room door. Literally right next to the edge of the day 3 battlefields, the cemetery and very close to the visitors center. It is also close to the town center-easily walkable. Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy. A bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Pool was nice for a quick dip-all that is needed. After all one doesn't go to Gettysburg to lounge by the pool all day. :) Breakfast was good-in an old house on the property. Typical "breakfast included" fare. We would definitely stay here again

  I was pleasantly surprised by just about everything this budget-friendly hotel had to offer. The location is in the heart of the Gettysburg vicinity, in walking distance from shops, restaurants and historic sites. Our room was quite spacious, very clean and well appointed. The pool was immaculate, and the free breakfast generous. Location can not be beat, beds are very comfy, bathrooms are spotless and breakfast was very nice. The staff was super friendly and made great suggestions on places to eat and things to see. We've already booked a return visit and joined the preferred "club". Thank you for your hospitality during our stay!
