The couple that maintains this B&B is excellent for this "job", they love what they do and we really enjoyed getting to know them. We spent hours just talking with them, it was a very plesant experience for us. -
Friendly hosts, excellent breakfeasts, very comfortable room, 5 minutes from ocean, can see ocean from terrace

This was avery quaint hotel that was beautifully decorated outside. You
feel as though you are in Mexico or in California as it was in the 1920.
The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. It is across from
the coaster however we never heard it while we were sleeping. -

I am accustomed to staying in luxury hoteIs and was not expecting much, but I was only going to be sleeping there, so thought I would give it a try. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room! It was also very quiet. It exceeded my expectations! The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The room was well equipped also. -

The sumptuous breakfast complete with boiled eggs, bakery selections, yogurt, excellent coffee, juice and especially the fresh fruit complete with large in season berries with ocean view and garden seating. Loved the Jacuzzi and fire pit and took pictures of everything including the sunset. -

Relaxed, clean and comfortable. Quiet, although conveniently just off the I-5. Short drive....or pleasant run....down to gorgeous beach/sea front. We both really liked that the rooms were silent. We could not hear anything until our last night...and it was a constant slamming of the door. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very polite and friendly. We have decided to make this a yearly trip.

I liked the location, cleanliness, price, and staff. I stayed in a
different hotel the night before for around the same price and it was
filthy and disgusting. When I went to Rodeway, I was so relieved to have
a great room that was clean!! I will for sure to go again and tell my
friend and family to do the same especially if they are traveling on

Rodeway inn is in a great location. My daghter and I were in encinitas
for surf lessons and roadway inn was in a great location. Only 2 miles
from moonlight beach. The room was very clean, tv, cable, small
refrigerator and a microwave were included in the room. The free
breakfast was good enough with som healthy options. The price was very
resonable as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Staff was very friendly, and responded quickly to an email I sent
letting them know that we would be checking in in the evening. It was
quiet, great for families, a 5 minute walk to Moonlight Beach, rooms
were clean and comfortable, and it was reasonably priced. We will
