Enjoy the hundreds of years old wooden quirky White Hart for what it is. It is not a modern concrete square hotel. You will be pushed to find a flat floor upstairs as the oak beams have bowed with time. Very nice staff and helpful, always most busy. Nice selection of meals, cooked correctly and serviced well. Nice to visit again and again..

The location was lovely - looking out of my room to the golf course was very peaceful. The drinks were extremely reasonable - especially the house wine which was of a good quality at a great price. Even with the minor niggles in the other section , it was a very enjoyable overnight stay and I would definitely use it again. A big thanks to the staf

The location is great set in a country landscape which is fabulous, there is the golf course immediately outside the Tavern and a pitch and putt for the less adventurous beginner and a squash court a very good sports location. The room was very clean and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional.

What a lovely hotel Archways Lodge is - friendly staff, spot on cleanliness, the most comfy bed I have ever slept in, kitchenette facilites a bonus! I adored the decoration and the personal touches. Very warm welcome by the two members of staff - one of them went the extra mile and printed a map and directions to a wedding venue in the middle of nowhere!
Room was ready by noon which allowed us to change for wedding.
Whilst no restaurant there was a very useful "kitchen in a cupboard" with some nice touches - coffee, orange juice, crisps, microwave, wine glasses etc.
Plenty of parking.
The "chambermaid" was a hoot!

Value for money, I booked it late on the day because of a client location and it proved to be superb, I arrived late at night went straight in ordered a meal and was set for the night. The supply of a continental breakfast and the honesty box is a very rare thing in these times. -
